Immobilizer 5

All related work for Immobilizer Generation 5 requires an online connection to the vehicle manufacturers servers/backend, which is currently not available to aftermarket diagnostic tool manufacturers.

Access to these functions requires authorized access the SVM/GeKO and FAZIT-Servers, available to both official manufacturer associated dealerships as well as independant workshops.

Used Keys

Keys are locked during their initial/first learning process and cannot be learned/matched to a different immobilizer system via factory procedures. Therefor, existing keys from a specific vehicle and immobilizer identity can be re-learned/matched to that same vehicle/identity at any time, while used keys from different vehicles or old identities cannot be learned/matched!
